Announcing SCE’s Hackathon!
Organized in association with Reebonz, SCE is proud to have its first Hackathon.
Register in teams of up to 4 where one member may be from outside SCE.

Overview
In teams of up to 4, in a 48 hour period, add a feature set to Reebonz, or prototype an innovative idea around the Reebonz API to stand a chance to win attractive prizes and geek fame! Reebonz will open up their API and production data for your use.
Perks
1. Code for glory. Compete for prizes. Show your peers what you’ve got.
2. Win cash prizes: 1st – $1000, 2nd – $500. Also, $50 Kwerkee credits for the first 20 people to sign up!
3. Stand a chance to score an internship with Reebonz.
4. Bond with teammates, network with other developers from school and from Reebonz.
5. Get a feel of “converting caffeine to code”.
6. Get an insight as to what the industry wants and how to deliver.
Duration : From the evening of 15th to night of 17th February, 2013.

Note: Hackathon is not to be confused with a similar event, Programming Competition. As a part of TechFest, CEC will also be organizing a 3 hour Programming Competition (which focuses on algorithms). Publicity for that will start soon. Watch out for emails!
