Hello SCE-ians,

Harcharan Singh 2014 has come to an end with our closing ceremony which was held on the 29th of October. We would like to thank everyone who came down to help for the event and also to the participants who made the games possible.

Every year, Harcharan Singh aims to seek for talented people from SCE to join Inter School Games (ISG).  At the same time, Harcharan Singh also encourage more people who are interested in sports or recreational games to join the ISG during this December.  In some cases, one player from other schools can also join as a member of the team if required or interested.

There were total of 10 different games which was held from 10-23 Oct:

• 3v3 Basketball (3 or 4 players per team with at most one from outside SCE)
• 5v5 Street soccer (6 players per team with at most one from outside SCE)
• Table tennis (single and mixed double)
• Pool game (single and mixed double)
• Badminton (single and mixed double)
• Scrabble (single)
• Uno Stacko (single)
• International Chess (single)
• Chinese Chess (single)​
• DotA2

This year Harcharan Singh had included DotA2 as one of the games. In addition, all people are welcome to participate the games as long as you are the staff or student from NTU.

All recreational games were held on the first day of the events. For instance, students and staffs had came down to take on the challenges for the recreational games such as Uno Stacko, Scrabble, International chess and Chinese chess.

Next, there were many different types of sports and was all held on different days as participants can join most of the games that they were interested with. In addition, many participants came down not only for the competitiveness but also for fun as well.

Lastly, the closing ceremony and prize awards ceremony were held on the 29th October. During the ceremony, there was a lucky draw and also a buffet provided after the ceremony. Check out the photos below!
