Hello SCE-ians,
The SCE Techfest 2015 was held recently at the Nanyang Auditorium. Did you come down for our company showcases? Of course I’m sure some of you came down because of the free ice cream which we handed out! But the company showcases were pretty awesome, some booths also included some interesting gifts for the students!
There were a few major events during the SCE Techfest which included:
- Staff Award Ceremony
- Hackathon
- Stage Quizzes
Students can find themselves learning more about companies and finding opportunities at the same time!
A dance game was setup on the Xbox 360 showcase to hold a mini competition for the highest score. The participants with the top 6 scores each gets to walk away with a $50 Capitaland voucher!
Commencement of the SCE Staff Award Ceremony. It was nice to see some of the long term staffs being awarded with a token of appreciation from the school.
After which came the buffet! Everyone was filling their tummies up after walking around the booth showcases
After the lunchtime events. The hackathon had already begun and the hackers all had their game faces on
An automated photobooth was also setup at the event to let our students take photos of themselves with their friends to leave some memories behind!
