SCSE Dinner & Dance 2019

The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) hosted its annual Dinner & Dance on 11th September 19 at the Novotel Singapore on Stevens. The annual Dinner & Dance is always seen as the event to look forward to for undergraduates as it marks an important milestone in their varsity life. The annual University event catered to a total of 200 attendees, offers SCSE students and staff to bond, catch up and have a fun-filled night to remember.

The theme of this year’s Dinner & Dance was “Tesoro Mio” an Italian translation of “treasure mine”, “my darling”, “my sweetheart”. The organizing committee aims to get everyone to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, many SCSE students and staff were seen all dressed up for the occasion.

The organizing committee worked hard to create a stunning photo booth to invoke a sense of romanticism in the guests and it was well-received, among both students and staff.

Miss Singapore International 19, Charlotte Lucille Chia, was cordially invited to grace the contest as our Special Guest Judge. An additional two pairs of titles were conferred in this year’s D & D – Mr/Ms. Congeniality and Mr/Ms. Photogenic.

Taking in the form of 16 pageant contestants, this year’s D&D King and Queen hopefuls competed to a series of segments and performance; consisting of pageant walks, individual poses, couple poses and a dance. The venue was filled with loud cheers & fun-filled laughter from their loyal supporters. Finally, Aloysius Seow & Joey Lim were crowned King and Queen.
